Magical Realism is a monthly publication that explores the extraordinary in the everyday through short narratives from a curated selection of authors. Each issue delves into unique perspectives on topics ranging from mental and physical wellbeing to current events, music, and art. The stories are centered on the idea that ordinary moments can hold profound significance—transforming the mundane into something deeply personal and impactful.

For this project, I designed the magazine’s visual identity to reflect its thematic focus. Bright, vibrant, and abstract illustrations are a core element throughout each issue, adding a dynamic layer to the narratives. These illustrations play with color and form to evoke emotion and enhance the reader's connection to the stories. The overall design balances striking visuals with a simple layout, creating a reading experience that is both immersive and visually engaging.
